Japfest is always the first on my calendar for the show season; as Europe’s biggest and best Japanese car show, this event is the ultimate showcase for JDM fans. There is a completely different energy when you walk into Silverstone for a show like this. Everywhere you look, there’s an incredible mix of history, engineering, and pure dedication—from cars being pushed to their absolute limits out on track to immaculate builds sitting in the paddock. For me, covering an event like Japfest is all about capturing that raw atmosphere. It’s about documenting the details that standard coverage misses, showing off the hard work behind these cars, and giving the culture the premium look it deserves.
